Sex and the city – office wear

To Sex and the City, the office is not a dating place. It is a serious place where only the mind is seen and heard, bods are to be covered up. The following are suggested as non-office wear:

Halter tops, midriff baring tops
micro minis, cutout dresses, whirly skirts, shorts, transparents, capris,
Plunging necklines
7″ heels, sneakers, flip flops

However, unless you were working, for who I am not sure, there is no way they would impose such a strict dress code at the office, unless of course they did. Obviously some attires do not belong. But then again, it all depends on one’s profession and what that profession defines as a work place.

For those who watched the show, or missed it altogether, it was more than just your typical honky-tonk. Some rounds passed around, on the house, some slurs exchanged, bar tending, a few flouncing and obvious flaunting. But thats what defines an event of that caliber in the present day.

And yea, I eyeballed what the attendees wore. And yea, they made a fashion statement. Was there a piece on the show that was top stitch? A leotard maybe?
